Heya, I'm Lauren

I work with small-to-medium, female-founded businesses to help them feel like the guest of honour in their own marketing again.

Because it turns out “cracking selling online” is just doing more of what you love, in a way that you’re excited to share with people.

How did all of it start?

So like most biz owners I know, I didn’t start out in my career thinking that I’d run a business. After being stuck in a boring admin role nearly 9 years ago (yet the horror of admin haunts me still), I slipped & fell into the world of marketing.

I started as an all-rounder marketing assistant covering everything in the marketing remit. Yes, everything. Then in my next role, I ran a marketing team as the marketing manager. This is where I had my first taste of strategy, and I thought “oooh yeah, I’ll go for some more of that please”.

Theeeennnn I moved into the agency world as a content manager in London, working with the likes of Sainsbury's & other national brands that are v fun to name drop.

My last full-time role before diving into the freelancing world was with a go-to-market agency managing content strategies for a wide range of London-based start-ups.

So yes, I know a thing or two about marketing, how to procrastinate on your admin & just how utterly bizarre all of the business bros sound when they talk about “the pitch deck”.

Where am I now?

Since joining the world of freelancing, I’ve worked with clients like Ceels Lockley, This Social Cottage, Digital Women & Handmade Bosses.

See? Name-dropping is FUN!

In between all that fun stuff, I've been growing an online community of over 21k marketers (!!). This is where I share the after-party debriefs on the stuff I’ve been through & what it’s taught me along the way.

I’ve helped countless business owners reflect their authentic amazingness in their own content, without making them feel like they have to fit themselves into a framework or a trend.

I’m very excited to see who I help next.

Oh, I almost forgot

I run a cute, quirky & very fun stationery business too, Short Stuff.

I make notebooks for the corporate girls, fun bookmarks that don’t look like they fell out of your nan’s handbag & a bunch of other cute things too.
